Apple New Lineup in 2023: iPhone 15, 15” MacBook Air and More

It’s always exciting for Apple fans when the company teases new devices. In this brand new year, everyone’s excited to find out what’s new in the Apple 2023 lineup.

With the surety of seeing some of the top upgrades in terms of MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, and even iWatches– all the Upcoming Apple new Products in 2023 are listed by Phonefix. Let’s look at some of the most anticipated new Apple products!

Apple’s Next Big Announcements

With some new Macs, new iPads, a new iOS version, and even 2-3 new Apple Watches – the year looks greatly packed.

1. iPhone 15 Series

iPhone 15 Ultra

After the surprise release of the Apple Watch Ultra, talk is rife of Apple working on an Ultra model for the upcoming iPhone 15 series. The iPhone 15 Ultra was earlier tipped as a replacement for the Pro Max model. However, it looks like the new phone will replace the iPhone’s Plus series instead.

Extension to Dynamic Island

There can be an extension that we can see for the Dynamic Island feature, which was specifically given for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. Other design changes may lead the way to make the iPhones more sturdy, reliable.

USB-C Port & Periscope Lens

In terms of design, the iPhone 15 Ultra could also feature a titanium alloy body and change the port to a USB-C instead of the Lightning port. Apart from this, a periscope lens is rumored to be added to the overall ensemble.

We can also expect significant upgrades in the overall camera department, although this is merely speculation at the time of writing.

Faster & Smarter Chip

Other than these features, the iPhone 15 is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm X70 chip, with improved AI capabilities and faster processing speeds. This could see up to 60% improved efficiency in terms of coverage range, signals, and latency.

Few reports have also suggested the use of Sony’s upcoming ‘state-of-the-art’ image sensor that will produce richer, brighter, and sharper images. Though it might be only available in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.

2. 15”MacBook Air

Next, Apple is expected to release a 15-inch MacBook Air this year. Though other things are expected to be quite similar as the 16-inch MacBook Air, the design is supposed to be lighter and thinner – as the Air models have shown in the past.

The processor is expected to be the same Apple M2 processor with 8GB unified memory and 256GB SSD. This is expected to be a segment after the successful launch of the M2 MacBook Air.

3. iMac with M3 Chip

Apple is definitely planning to launch the new iMac with the Apple M3 chip. Earlier it was rumoured that Apple is going to come up with their new ‘iMac Pro’ this year but whether it is going to be the Pro version with the M3 chip or another segment altogether that we will have to wait and watch.

The upcoming M3 chip is said to be built using the more efficient 3-nanometer fabrication process, according to Mark Gurman. He expects the M3 chip to arrive this year and primarily for the brand new iMac.

4. Apple Watch Series 9

Next, we have the Apple Watch Series 9 addition to the list as Apple plans to go ahead and add the Ultra features to this one. Apart from the fact that there may be a new Apple Watch coming out in 2023, not a lot of other details are known when it comes to the Apple Watches segment.

5. Reality Pro Headset

In an interesting move, this next 2023 addition is something that’s a bit different from all the other mentions in this list. Yes, in 2023 Apple is expected to roll out its Reality Pro headset, which might be called ‘Reality Pro’ if rumours are to be believed.

But what we already know about the headset is that it is going to be one of a kind AR/VR headset that will change the way people consume content, listen to music, and stream their favourite videos.

Earlier it was expected to be released as early as January 2023 but that was later delayed for reasons unknown to us.

6. All-in-One Apple TV, HomePod, & FaceTime Camera

Next, the all-in-one Apple TV, HomePod, and FaceTime Camera assimilation in what can be called Apple’s finickiest experiments in the last decade or so. Though we had already heard about this update way back in 2021 nothing of this sort was released until the beginning of 2023.

But it is being reported that Apple will finally go ahead with this product, which will see functions like gaming, watching videos, taking FaceTime calls using the HD camera, and using the box as a HomePod for general home-or-apartment usage.

7. Apple Silicon Mac Pro

Last, but not the least, we have the Apple Silicon Mac Pro update that is probably the most satisfying and eye-opening in 2023.

The new Mac Pro is expected to feature the M2 Ultra chip with a 20-core CPU, up-to 64 core GPU, and 64GB/128GB of unified memory. We could also see the Mac Pro get the M2 Extreme chip, which will then provide a 40-core CPU, up to 128-core GPU, and at least 128GB/256GB of unified memory.

Products released so far in 2023

Apple in January 2023 introduced new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models that are equipped with updated M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. Apple also introduced new M2 and M2 Pro Mac mini machines and a new larger-sized $299 HomePod, with all of these announcements done via press release.

These were some of the expected additions to the already existing crazy and ever-growing world of Apple and their revolutionary products.
