How to use T203 to remove Mac Book ID Activation Lock

T203 is mainly used to unlock the ID activation lock that appears on the activation interface of Mac book with T2 chip.

T203 equipment includes two tools : T203 U Disk and T203 ROM Holder.

 

 

T203 ROM Holder

T203 ROM socket is written with T2 ROM data of special equipment and T2 ROM read-write socket.

T203 U Disk

The activation lock unlocking software is written into the T203 U disk, and it supports MacBook with USB interface and Type-C interface.

It is mainly responsible for reading the serial number and machine code of the machine and unlocking the activation lock by analyzing the code.

 

 Step 1: Remove the T2 ROM Chip

1. Remove the screws disconnect the motherboard connection cable, and remove the motherboard on Mac Board Repair Fixture. Set the temperature and airflow of the QUICK 861DW Hot Air Gun to remove the T2 ROM chip.

Step 2:
Talk out T203 T2 Activation Lock Assistant and put the T2 ROM chip on the reader socket,corresponding to pin 1 on the chip.

 

T203 connected to the computer, Open "AsProgramnmer" software, Click "Read ID", select the chip model "AT25SL321_1.8V", Click "Open file", begin writing unlock data.

Step 3:
Connect T203 to computer and open "Programmer Software" folder. Begin writing unlock data. Remove the T2 ROM chip. Then install the chip on the motherboard. Solder the chip back on the motherboard with QUICK 861DW Hot Air Gun.Put the motherboard back on the Mac Book.

Step 5:
After re-flashing the T2 ROM data, the machine will mot turn on and process the DFU mode. Connect the Mac Book to another Mac Book with a data cable. Please plug the cable into the left bottom Type-C.

Open Apple Configurator 2. Right click to select "Restore". Begin restoring.

Step 6:
Long press start button with one hand. Press touch panel with another hand. Release the power button and then press the power button again. Press Control-Option-Shift-Power button to get the Mac Book into DFU mode.

Step 7:
Plug in the T203 USB to read the Mac Book data. The Mac Book data is successfully read if the Touch Bar has shown some images.

Step 8:
Bypassing activation lock is ongoing. Click "Cancel". The device is successfully activated. Unplug the data cable. Turn the Mac Book off. Hold down the Command+R keys at the same time. Enter the system installation interface. Start reinstalling.

Step 9:
Connect the Mac Book with power. The ID of the Mac Book is successfully removed. The activation has succeeded.

Tips:
Set the temperature and airflow of the QUICK 861DW Hot Air Gun at 425℃ and 3 respectively to remove the T2 ROM chip and solder the chip back on the motherboard.
